Jannette Pineiro’s passion for law and justice began in Havana, Cuba, where she earned her law degree from the University of Havana in 1993. After immigrating to the United States, she pursued further education to continue her legal career and better serve her community. In 2009, she obtained her LL.M. in International Comparative Law from the University of Miami, and later earned a J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2016.
While studying at St. Thomas, she had the distinguished opportunity to clerk for the Honorable Judge Frank Shepherd at the Third District Court of Appeal, gaining valuable judicial insight and hands-on legal experience. This foundation shaped her commitment to delivering thoughtful, thorough, and client-centered legal advocacy.
